The Foundation has given generously to projects and institutions working to gain a better understanding of the brain.

During the pandemic, the Foundation funded research relating to Covid-19 immunology and testing at some of the UK’s leading universities.

A current area of focus is the impact of digital technology on brain development, social behaviours and mental health in young people. In January 2025, the Foundation launched an open call for proposals with a total budget of up to £10M/$13M. We are currently accepting submissions until 23 May 2025.
