The Huo Family Foundation is pleased to announce three new grants totaling $750,000, furthering its longstanding commitment to supporting the arts in London, New York, and for the first time in Hong Kong. These new grants will contribute to three major exhibitions scheduled for 2026 and launch the Foundation’s first arts fellowship.

The Foundation is awarding HKD 4,000,000 to M+ to establish the Huo Research Fellow, the Foundation’s first fellowship in the arts. The fellowship will support a researcher working on multiple exhibitions and projects that address local contexts in Hong Kong and Greater China, and deepen their ongoing artistic dialogue with France. This initiative underscores the Foundation’s dedication to fostering academic and cultural exchange between Asian and Western communities.

These will be the first important London surveys of Berlin-based Japanese artist Chiharu Shiota and Beijing-based sculptor and installation artist Yin Xiuzhen, highlighting the significance of both artists’ contributions to contemporary art.
